Fokker

Fokker was a Amsterdam based dutch aircraft manufacturer. It has been founded in 1912 and is named after its founder Anthony Fokker. In 1987 Fokker has not made a lot of profit, because the engineering of the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 has been very expensive. On 15 March of 1996 Fokker was declared bankrupt, after the Board of Directors of Daimler-Benz decided to cut their connections and stop their work with Fokker. Afterwards some parts of the company were still existing, the space division for example was working as an independent company with the name Fokker Space until 2002. Fokker`s most sold airplane was the Fokker 100, sold 283 times.
